Job Duties

1.  Cooperate with the School Food Service Manager to provide a positive and inviting dining experience for students, parents, and faculty.

2.  Be responsible for food preparation by chopping, washing, cutting, assembling, sorting, and mixing foodstuffs for cooks.

3.  Be responsible for the serving of food during the serving periods.

4.  Be responsible for cleaning equipment, storage, and work areas during the total work day.

5.  Be responsible for the proper storage of food.

6.  Be responsible for washing dishes and utensils.

7.  Operate mechanical kitchen equipment safely.

8.  Follow work schedules as assigned by the Food Service Manager.

9.  Practice acceptable health and work habits.

10. Participate in activities that will promote the school food service program.

11. Participate in professional development training.

12. Perform other duties as assigned by the School Food Service Manager and/or Principal.
